Each hotel offers many upgraded amenities such as complimentary breakfast, in-room hair dryer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and weekday morning newspaper. The brand is known for its consistently high quality accommodations and personal, warm hospitality.

A typical Country Inns & Suites hotel offers excellent value along with upgraded services and amenities within a smaller, informal setting. The properties are strategically located near restaurants, area attractions or business parks to provide convenience and accessibility for business or leisure travelers. Most locations feature exercise facilities, swimming pools and whirlpools, and coin-operated laundry facilities.
As a way to thank guests for their loyalty to the brand, Country Inns & Suites provides an in-house lending library program at its North American hotels called "Book It And Return" which lends free books to guests based on the assurance they will return the book on their next visit. For every book returned to a Country Inns & Suites hotel, the company makes a $5.00 donation to ProLiteracy Worldwide. To date, the brand has donated over $60,000.
The brand's guest loyalty program is goldpoints plusSM which offers 10 points for every dollar spent on accommodations at all U.S. and Canadian properties. Enrolled members can earn a free night's stay when 15,000 Gold Points® are accumulated. Members of goldpoints plus can also earn Gold Points® when they stay at Carlson's more than 800 participating Radisson Hotels & Resorts®, Park Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, Country Inns & Suites By Carlson® and Park Inn® locations in the Americas. In addition to hotel accommodations at Carlson's hotel brands, goldpoints plus members can also earn points through the Gold Points Reward Network, which includes over 100 name-brand online retail merchants. Members can redeem for an array of award options such as dining, gift certificates and merchandise options from leading brands. Carlson's Radisson Seven Seas Cruises® and its restaurant operations, including T.G.I. Friday's®, are also part of the network. All participating partners will accept any Gold Points Reward Network card and every partner offers their own unique rewards.
